Additional Info
I’m a fully qualified and registered hypnotherapist with psychotherapy. I have also been trained in the use of other therapeutic methods, including NLP, Counselling tecniques, Psychosyntheses, Emotional Freedom/Meridian Therapy, CBT techniques, and Educational Kinesiology.
As a member of both the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), and the Association of Professional Hypnosis & Psychotherapy (APHP), and in order to obtain my professional indemnity insurance, I am required to attend Continuing Professional Development throughout my career, as well as attend regular Supervision (mentoring/coaching) sessions. This helps to ensure you experience the most up-to-date therapeutic methods suitable for you, from a therapist who is regularly assessed and mentored by the most senior of registered therapists in the field.
I have successfully worked with a wide range of emotional and psychological obstacles, with adults, children and young adults.
I am also a trained member of The Silent Cry(www.thesilentcry.co.uk), an independent charity working to promote awareness of, and help for, those with depression and those who self-harm.
My practice is based on the belief that a client-centred approach to therapy is of the utmost importance, and I am committed to meeting this in all aspects of my professional work.
My commitment to you:
- I will use my professional expertise and experience to give you the best therapy at my disposal, with the best outcome for you, as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- I will explain, and seek your agreement on, any technique I plan to use before using it with you in therapy.
- If, for any reason, I feel it would be in your best interests to see a different therapist, I will advise you of this and give you relevant contact details of someone who may be more suitable.
