One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in life is that you can control how you allow challenging events to affect you. As the novelist and philosopher Aldous Huxley once said, “experience is not what happens to you, it’s what you do with what happens to you.”
I personally found that my own life became rapidly more exciting and fulfilling once I realised how simple it can be turn life’s challenges into life’s opportunities.
And once you control those beliefs – rather than the other way around – you begin to realise that you can control any aspect of your life that you choose.
So if there is an obstacle in your way that is stopping you from living the life you want – whether that be losing weight, giving up smoking or drinking, help with depression or anxiety – anything – there will always be an eloquent way to overcome those limiting beliefs.
